Christina Weaver, MAEd., LPCC-S I Clinical Therapist & Supervisor
Christina is an INTJ whose passion is building strong relationships with clients that is rooted in acceptance & respect. Christina completed her undergraduate education at Malone University, majoring in Psychology & minoring in Literature. She received her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Akron & is a licensed clinical counselor with supervisor designation. She also is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
With over eight years of post graduate experience, Christina has worked in community mental health as a full time therapist & a supervisor for interns & licensed clinicians. She enjoys working with clients ages 13+ struggling with: sexual abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, partner/spouse issues, PCOS/hormone issues, transgender concerns in youth & adults, & the LGBTQIA+ community. Christina integrates humor & compassion, along with evidence based practices to help clients work towards their goals of mental health wellness. She would love to offer you a safe space to facilitate your growth & healing with the understanding that this journey is unique to you.
In her free time, Christina is a certified Colored Stones Specialist with a love for gems & crystals, enjoys playing classical guitar, reading, watching a good hockey match or F1 race, playing tennis, attending ballet class, & spending time with family & friends.
