Katherine Lance, M.A., LPCC-S I Clinical Therapist & Supervisor
Katherine is an ISFJ who is enthusiastic about collaborating and uplifting others. She completed graduate work and received her master’s degree in counseling from The University of Akron. Katherine is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation, who has 15 years clinical experience, including 3 years of tele-health experience. Katherine is currently in the process of obtaining certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Katherine aims to create a safe, compassionate space for people to process their thoughts and feelings. She is passionate about helping people build confidence, work through uncomfortable emotions, improve communication in relationships, heal trauma wounds, and learn how to calm their nervous system to shift out of survival mode. Utilizing evidenced based approaches of person centered, CBT,
DBT, motivational interviewing and somatic (mind/body connection) allows Katherine to draw from a plethora of skills and techniques to tailor therapy specifically to each individual. Katherine currently works with individuals 18 and up with anxiety, trauma, codependency, self-esteem, grief, depression, women’s issues, and stress. In her free time, Katherine enjoys being in nature, yoga, reading, sports,
