Lindsy Rivera, M.A., LSW, LPCC-S, LPAT, ATR-BC I Clinical Therapist & Supervisor

Lindsy is an INFJ who is motivated to provide an empathetic and trusting relationship with all clients. In 2012, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University. She has engaged in a variety of community and hospital based work via case management, PHP/IOP groups, diagnostic assessments, and crisis assessments with dual diagnosed clients of all ages. In 2017, she graduated with her master’s in art therapy and counseling from Ursuline College. 

 

Lindsy grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and loves the Cleveland area. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family/friends, going to concerts, traveling, yoga, Netflix, camping, environmental sustainability, learning new things and going on adventures.

 

When working with clients, she values compassion and rapport-building while providing a laid back, at ease, session. Currently she offers clinical services to individuals ages 19 and up to aid in overcoming anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, self-esteem, life transitions, codependency, stress and personal growth. Welcoming to work with LGBTQ+, open relationships, non monogamy, sex- positive and kink allied communities.

 

She will utilize motivational interviewing, CBT, strengths-based perspective, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), art, music, and holistic techniques in sessions to create a calm and comfortable environment. Lindsy is also fully trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
