Erika Zelasko, M.A., MFT I Therapist 

Erika is an ENFP who is passionate about helping clients deepen the relationships they have with themselves. Erika completed her undergraduate studies from Miami University in 2011 majoring in Speech Communication, with a minor in Jewish Studies. Erika worked in marketing prior to pursuing a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron. Erika completed her master's clinical training through an internship at Healing Pathways Cleveland. Erika is currently in the process of completing training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

 

Erika is originally from Cincinnati but has lived in Cleveland for over 12 years. She is passionate about seeing live music, cooking, being by the lake, traveling, fashion and hanging out with friends and family.

 

Erika utilizes a trauma-informed approach with somatic experiencing, attachment theory, inner child work, mindfulness-based therapy, and also provides Gottman couples assessments. Erika's intention is to develop a therapeutic relationship that explores both the conscious and unconscious parts of yourself in a non-judgmental, compassionate environment with a laid-back, personalized approach. She provides individual, couples, and family counseling sessions for clients between the ages 18 and up. Erika is under the supervision of Anjelica Nelson, MAEd., IMFT-S, LPCC-S.
