Emily is an ESFJ who is passionate about people and empowering clients to embrace the uncomfortable in a safe space to reach their goals. Emily received her Bachelor's in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and her Master’s in Social Work from The University of Denver and has three years of clinical experience in private practice. Emily has experience working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use, family conflict, trauma and more. Emily has a passion for supporting women as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their strengths and purpose. Emily has a Christian background and has completed training in faith based counseling from The American Association of Christian Counseling. Emily uses interventions based in DBT, strengths perspective, CBT, mindfulness, and faith based counseling upon request.
After three years in Ohio, Emily has moved to North Carolina and offers virtual sessions to those wanting to experience therapy from the comfort of their own space! Emily would love to offer a space of safety, respect, validation, and empowerment for you as you continue your journey of personal growth. Emily provides clinical services for individuals ages 18 and up.
