Mis’cha is an ENFJ who is passionate about emotional innerwork and fostering a therapeutic environment conducive to holistic healing and developmental growth for her clients. She values authentic connection and strives to create a warm and nonjudgmental space where others can feel seen, heard, and empowered to be themselves. From there, she continued her education and is currently pursuing a Marriage and Family Therapy master’s degree from The University of Akron as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee,

designated by the Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. She is currently supervised by Anjelica Nelson, MAEd., IMFT-S, LPPC-S.

Prior to beginning her clinical training, Mis’cha spent several years working in a community mental health setting in Northeast Ohio, providing behavioral health and crisis management services locally. Throughout this experience, she had the opportunity to support individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. These experiences strengthened her belief that mental health is an essential part of overall well-being and that investing in emotional wellness can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Mis’cha offers in-office counseling to individuals, couples, and families (ages 15 and up) from all walks of life. Her specific areas of interest include trauma, loss and grief, LGBTQIA+ concerns, sexual wellness, gender-related issues, depression, life transitions, overall wellness, and more. She provides trauma-informed and culturally responsive care using a person-centered and systemic approach to therapy. She recognizes the importance of the larger systems and relationships that mold and shape our lives. She also knows that everyone is unique and caters to each client's individual needs, strengths, identities, and life experiences in order to support them on their therapy and life journeys. Mis’cha is committed to walking alongside her clients as they navigate challenges they may face to move towards accomplishing their goals. In her free time, she enjoys movie theaters, live music of all genres, staying active, admiring or creating art, and spending quality time with her beloved family and friends. Please contact Mis’cha for counseling or professional collaboration.
