Pete Bogdanovic, MSW, LSW I Therapist

Pete is an INFP-T who finds his passion in service to others. Pete earned his Bachelor’s in Social Work from Bowling Green State University in 2015 and later his Master’s of Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2021. With a total of 10 years of experience, Pete has worked to help people from all walks of life make sense of their life and find peace. Where Pete finds his passion is helping those who live with depression, issues with self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and family estrangement. Pete is also an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and is here to help those who don’t feel seen or heard in today’s climate.

Pete has many tools in his tool kit that can help in session including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Person Centered Therapy, Inner-child Work, Trauma Informed Care, Supportive Counseling, and a Solution Focused approach. Pete is laid back in his approach but is also serious when the situation calls for it. His use of humor can bring light heartedness to very serious topics to help one process in a way that feels less scary and triggering. At the same time, he will never invalidate your trauma or story, helping you get to a place where you aren’t invalidating yourself. Pete works with individuals 18 and older who strive to better their lives, make sense of their past, and strive to be the best versions of themselves.
